From my initial desire to propose a theater that is different from what exists today, I though of a theater that is mobile and temporary. This theater will travel to various places, leaving magical spatial experiences to the spectators' hearts.

I designed a 'Yonshin Tea & Cake Selection Bar', which combines tea and Taiwanese food with a new sensation. An arch connecting the shop space on the first floor and the ceiling of second floor attempts to tie the past and the present. The façade reflects the image of Twatutia of Taiwan, keeping the impact of the blue brand color. Using iron barred window as a material and exposing the building structure, the interior performs a play of luxurious cuisine.

Serendipity means 'to encounter coincidences or discover unexpected things'. This project 'Surendipity Publisher' is a book store that attempts to provoke unpredictable cultural communication amongst artists in hidden Harajyuku.

The light shines into the yard and the soil breathes through the falling rain. Various life circulates in a yard. The yard gives happines to our feelings in everyday lives. The yard as an architectural element also carries many functions. It integrates building with nature and brings communication between people. The project aims to create a space that connects with the city and brings togetherness of people of different backgrounds.

I made a chair as an appreciation for my mother who brought me up to become independent. A typical chair is made from assembly of different parts, but this chair is crafted from one piece of wood. The selected material and size is measured from my mother as this is a fully order made chair.

The making of 'OMO STOOL' started from my interest in resin and woodworking skills that I acquired at ICS. Designed along the key word of 'decorating', the seat acts as a piece of art that can be displayed on walls and shelves.

The project originates from my experience at my second home, Kiso region located in South Shinshu. It challenges how to approach proximity with nature and rural problems though design. The solution beame broader that what I initially expected, and it was difficult to set an end to the project. I hope to continue to work with the region and mature this project.

Where did you play during your childhood?' When asked, I thought about a having a facility for kids to hang out after school. Maybe adults should be responsible to create such place for the childeren so that they don't have to hang out in front of corner stores causeing troubles. I tried to make the place exciting so that the youth will keep thier curious inquisitive minds.

As globalization accelerated due to the technology innovation, the world has turned itself into a melting pot with people from different backgrounds and race. Transients, who have lived in several different countries experiencing multiple cultures, are increasing dramatically and becoming the dominant group of people. The project aims to design a residence specifically for the increasing population of transients and provide them with a sense of belonging and solve their insecurity of rootlessness. The project has blurred the line between private and public spaces which giving transient artists chances to communicate with people in the city and the building. Instead of closing themselves into a small room, opening and letting people know their stories rather help transients in their search for a home.

Project: To design an education centre for students studying subjects surrounding climate change at Greenwich University. Designing a community space where the young climatologists can research, learn and study alongside explore the importance of their subject. The space aim to include an educational space that promotes the importance of climate change to a climate change denier and the passive allies.

The main goal of this project is to offer a better shopping experience to follow up on generation of online shopping. To make High Street have more comfortable and memorable experience space for visitors. In the other hand to solve the pedestrianized problems that happen at Oxford Street for decades.

There are a lot of protest movements happening in the world today. As the public is frequently responding to global issues, there is a need for a whole new discussion platform that works globally. This platform provides a space for public to discuss and debate any common topic, and make a petition to the Regional Development Agencies, London Assemblies and local council.

A Making Workshop in the Old Billingsgate Market where people can witness and experience the progress of production which could also give an opportunity to show, manufacture, sell or exhibit works, yet to see how the seller and buyer interact to each other.

Antipodes is a shared economy based service that offers information and space solutions to global nomads and locals. These solutions offer the opportunity to the providers to easily adjust their interiors do that they can facilitate the service. The architecture of Antipodes focus on spatial psychology and empathy through a synergy of imposing forms, inspiring light perforations, and intriguing aesthetics.

Pine Garden was built in 1942. It is a quiet place where you can view the whole Hualien (a city in Taiwan). Formerly, it was a Japanese military office. During the World War II, this was where the Japanese Emperor gave a resting area for the Kamikaze Corps.
The site facing Hualien harbor is surrounded with forest, and a waterworks bureau. It is only 2 minutes from the city.
Q : Why did you choose this site?
A : Our hometown Hualien is said to be the most beautiful mountain in Taiwan. The mountains face the ocean, and development of city is rather slow. We searched for a quiet place not too far from the city.
Q : Why a space for funeral? Why relationship between life and death?
A : It developed from the site's history. Kamikaze Corps knowing that they will not return alive from their mission, may still have had hope to live. In this complicated atmosphere, the space and nature will heal the family's feelings. The funeral space to be released from sadness, and encourage people to move forward after losing something special.

The site we selected is Mao Ao Fishing Village, located in Gongliao District, Taiwan. Mao Ao is a village facing the ocean with mountains behind. There used to be a lot of people and commercial facilities, but recently after lack of marine resources, many people have gone to the city for jobs. The village is not lively as it was in the past, and it is facing a crisis under government's estate development. Standing in position as a planner, we wanted to propose a conversion of Mao Ao Village as a commercial form, maintaining the old appearance and lifestyle. The design divides the village into residential area and commercial area through the river. Selecting an abandoned house and using the same method of dividing the residential and commercial space, a new function is inserted. Investigating the new and the old, economic criteria, truth and fiction, five relative elements are connected for the future of Mao Ao Village.

Building two houses, KOREKARA house for learning new knowledge and IMAMADE house for learning tradition, at Uwamachi Ginza Shopping Street in Yokosuka where streetscape consist of mixture of the new and the old. Pathways are made in center of both houses to connect people into the back alley. The space between two houses can be used as rental shop space with affordable rent. This rental shop system aims to develop more business opportunities to fill in vacant stores. As knowledge being the framework, this housing scheme attempts to connect generations and borders.

Recentlty, the value of Shinjyuku Gyoen has been re-recognized due to various attempts by the Ministry of Environment. This project considers the history of greenhouse gardening of Shinjyuku Gyoen and attempts to create a facility with the theme of experiencing the attractive mixed scenery of city and nature.

The sense of smell is said to be the most instinctive sense of the five human senses. The scent we enjoy actually has a deeper relationship with our memories and emotions. Today, people under the pandemic are puzzled, tired, and lonely. The proposed fragrance shop is located in Harajyuku where various people gather. People can meet, heal the body and mind, loosen the rythm, and experience new things in this space. Lets regain the luxurious moment at this space of 'Scent, Light, Beauty'.

Shopping Street Hotel where people and the city mingle and spread in the arcade' Shopping streets and relationship between people are declining due to the rise of internet shopping. In attempt to save these shopping streets, I focused on the left over space evident in many diminishing shopping streets. As these left over space to be the place of gathering and transformation, the project envisions the shopping street to re-develop together with the surrounding environment.

The space is like an art; the design inspiration comes from 'Fold', 'Pleat', and 'Hang' which are deconstructive methods of fashion. With irregular angles and multilateral surfaces, the spatial volume of the shop transforms.

Even when we all live separately, it will always be part of the family. The way to use it may differ, but we will all keep the same thing as we move on in life. I made this for my five family members. It can be used as a decoration, or touch, or give a role. It looks mysterious, but once you touch it, the way to use is infinite. uchinoco only for me with my way to use.

Spending time away with fine quality coffee relaxing on a designer's furniture at a fashionable Minami Aoyama area. To realize a design as if one has travelled overseas, the concept of the first floor is lushly green Rome, the second floor Mediterranean Sea, and the staircase as a road connecting the two different places. Not only color, but the materials and forms also express the connection between the human world and the natural world.

Baby Spa facilities are popular in overseas countries as a place for families to visit with their babies. As the first baby spa in Japan sponsored by Shiseido Company, this project proposes a service of 'a well being experience for mother and baby'. The interior consists of twenty four scenes using various original furniture for visitors and staffs to relax in an open space, as if in a cozy living room.
