Eligibility for Applicants
- Exchange students must have the earned the equivalent of a high school graduation certificate, and in general, have completed 12 years of schooling.
- Applicants must be able to satisfy one of the following conditions as evidence of sufficient Japanese language skill and ability required to undertake study at this school.
- (1) Be able to provide proof of six or more months of Japanese language education at a school in Japan accredited by the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education and have obtained level 2 or above in the Japanese language proficiency test or have a reference from the principal of the Japanese language school they attend stating that the student has ability equivalent to level 2 or above in the Japanese language proficiency test.
- (2) Have received schooling for a period of one year or more in a school (high school or university etc.) outlined in Article 1 of the School Education Act of Japan.
- (3) Have obtained a score of 200 or more in the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students.
- Applicants must be able to arrange for the payment of fees for the exchange period.
